Getting started: update your member profile

Our previous email granted access to a new tool: the WSSCC SharePoint Members Community. The Members’ Community is an online directory, listing all members, where you can also connect and collaborate. Review our 5-step guide on how to access the community.

This community is your resource – take advantage of it by networking, sharing and advocating for access to sanitation, hygiene and water supply for all! You can learn about and participate in WASH advocacy efforts in your country, region or around the globe. At the same time, we encourage YOU to contribute to this pool of knowledge and help keep it growing so as to increase the sector’s capacity to achieve its objectives. For example, you can:

Once signed in, please take a few minutes to go to through your individual profile and review, update and save your contact details.

Your responsibility

Although the validity of your membership is not limited to a specific duration, we request that you periodically update your online member profile and keep your contact details current. Particularly if you are an activist or practitioner who is directly involved in the WASH sector, please maintain your profile to reflect details on your WASH-related work.

Please note that members are expected to behave respectfully, using standard online etiquette. If you experience problems accessing the Members Community or have questions related to membership, please contact us by e-mail at members@wsscc.org. Please also be sure to save the wsscc@wsscc.org e-mail address and update your inbox settings to ensure you receive our communications.

Join us on the online Community of Practice

As a WSSCC member, you will now have automatic approval to join the Community of Practice on Sanitation and Hygiene in Developing Countries (CoP) hosted by WSSCC. If you have not already joined, we encourage you to do so. This LinkedIn group brings together more than 6,000 individuals from the global community who are working in the sanitation and hygiene sector and want to share and learn together. It stimulates collaborative and active learning to generate a mutual understanding of sanitation and hygiene areas and provides a platform for global dialogue.

For other updates and news related to membership, we encourage you to check the membership page on the WSSCC website.

Kind regards,
