This would be funny if it was not so serious. The incompetence of Trump himself and the Trump administaataion more broadly is mind-boggling ... but truly not surprising.
The media has had an important role in the administration of countries for a very long time and was already well established at the founding o fthe United States in the 1770s. Goldberg and the Atlantic.
And certain information is 'off limits' to the media because of its national security implications. This has been the norm going back a very long time.
The fact of Trump Administration sloppiness of incompetence or plain stupidity is a massive concern ... and the response of Trump administration officials, not to mention Trump himself, is not at all reassuring.
God help America!

Jeffrey Goldberg has told the BBC that top Trump officials who accidentally added him to a group chat discussing bombings in Yemen, should accept their mistake.
Goldberg, the editor of The Atlantic, has released the full exchange from the Signal group chat.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Wednesday 'someone made a big mistake' inviting Goldberg, but he says none of the messages put the lives of service members at risk.
Goldberg spoke to the BBC's Sarah Smith about the fallout and what officials are saying about him.
