Donald Trump and his fellow traveler's make a lot of noise on top of very weak arguments. For a big proportion of the Americam ... U.S. that is ... population a 'popular' argument is all that matters, not so much, the substance of the argument.
I would like for the US media to still have Walter Kronkite at its center. As I remember, he was totally insistent that the 'news' that he curated was as 'factual' as it could possible be. Fast forward to the second Trump and this sort of thoroughness seems strangely 'quanit!'.
I see Trump as a rather ignorant bully who makes a lot of dangerous noise on top of rather little 'substance'. He reminds me of a rather noisy 13 year old in a school playground who is physicallt big and strong, but intellectually at the bottom of his class!
President's Trump's interaction with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine in the Oval Office in March 2025 was typical of Trump, the bully. While many Trump 'followers' see Trump's behavior as 'strong', most of the world sees it as ineffective and wrong ... merely confirming that Trump is basically a 'dumb bully1.
