With Sadness Regarding Our Friend Alan Brower Inbox Saw Creek Estates Men's Club Bushkill 1:50 PM (8 hours ago) to SCE, SCE, Richard, Jim Gentlemen, It is with a very heavy heart that I write today to inform you that our friend and long-time club member Alan Brower has lost his battle with cancer. Alan died on Saturday morning at his home here in Saw Creek Estates. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 4 to 8PM at Leo F. Kearns Funeral Homes, 61-40 Woodhaven Blvd, Rego Park, NY 11374. The family also intends to hold a memorial in Saw Creek Estates at a future date. Having has his fill of meetings during his career, Alan was not often seen at our club’s monthly business meetings. However, he seldom missed our post-meeting camaraderie at the Top of the World Restaurant. He will be sorely missed. Our hearts go out to his wife Michele and all other family members. Expecting that we'll have better weather than last month, our intent is to have our meeting at the Derrenbacher Community Center (DCC) on Decker Rd. We will have refreshments, but note that it's BYOB and we ask everyone to not bring glass bottles. We have a lot to discuss, including ideas for fun things that we may do together.
