GRI Climate Change and Energy draft Standards, public comment webinar for USA & Canada GRI February 14th 2024 ... 9:37 AM We look forward to welcoming you online on 21 February Empowering Sustainable Decisions Dear Peter Burgess, The GRI climate change-related Standards have been revised to incorporate new issues that reflect stakeholder expectations, represent updated and internationally agreed best practice and align with recent developments. The Climate Change and Energy draft Standards are currently undergoing a public consultation process, open until 29 February 2024. GRI hosted four global events in November 2023 and January 2024 to present the Climate Change and Energy exposure drafts, provide clarity on how to participate in the public consultation process, raise key questions and engage with experts on the drafts, allowing for greater insight generation and knowledge sharing. Building on these events, GRI will organize a session specifically for North America to facilitate more in-depth and interactive engagement with participants from the region on the drafts. You are invited to join a webinar for stakeholders based in North America on Wednesday, February, 21st at 9am PST; 11am CST; 12pm EST, to discuss the draft Standards. We recommend familiarizing yourself with the exposure drafts available on our website GRI - Project for Climate Change Standards (globalreporting.org). Attendees will be invited to submit their feedback through the formalonline questionnaire. We invite you to register through the link and we are looking forward to welcoming you to the session.
