I am glad I have had the opportunity to listen / watch this video. There is a lot in this video that should be noted, but there are some massive problems with the core discussion in the presentation.

Certainly, there is some basis for the idea that a 'fiat' currency has some some of the characteristics of a classic Ponzi scheme, but that is only partially true.

More important is that the analysis is just about currency and/or money without much consideration of the role of 'production' and 'value creation' in the economic system.
