I don't know when I archived this image ... but I do know that it was something that resonated with me at the time.
I have been incredibly fortunate during me lifetime. Though I failed to become 'wealthy', I was able to life a good life. Hopefully I was also able to do quite a lot in support of initiatives that aimed to 'do good' in the broadest sense of this.
When I was working on assignments involving UNDP and UNHCR during the 1980s and 1990s I was able to observe the hard work of all sorts of people at the 'bottom of the pyramid'. This is something that my 'excellent' education had completely ignored. It is something that the media and the 'powerful people' in our modern society ignore ... and it bothers me!
