This is an important idea ... that most of these basics are in the control of the individual ... but most of the structures of society, like the media and education and the corporate ecosystem do rather little to build on this foundational idea but rather do exactly the opposite. It really is no wonder that modern America is full of so many unhappy and essentially unsuccessful people !!!!!
