TRUCOST Some information about the UK management team and Libby Bernick in the USA introducing TruCost Peter Burgess COMMENTARY Follow up in August 2023 ... some time after the following was compiled, the TruCost organization that was based in the UK was acquired by a unit of Standard and Poors (S&P)in New York. I talked to Richard Mattison during one of his visits to New York about a year after the acquisition and was disappointed. Prior to the acquisition I was getting the impression that TruCost was going in a very useful direction that was quite well aligned with what we were trying to do with TVM. My disappointment was confirmed over time with several brief conversations with Libby Bernick at a variety of events in New York. S&P is a big and powerful organization in the center of the Banking and Finance industry where conventional (and outdated) financial analysis rules the day. I have lost touch for the time being with everything to do with TruCost ... mea culpa! Peter Burgess | |||||||||
