Conventional financial accountancy has been an important foundation for business management for something more than 400 years. It is very powerful, and somewhat boring, but has stood the test of time. However, all sorts of things have changed in the last hundred years and it is time to enhance accountancy so that it is a lot more fit for purpose than it now is.
