US ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE
EXCELLENT CORPORATE ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE Profit-v-GDP-v-wages shows corporate profit far better than other essential metrics for very long time Original article: Peter Burgess COMMENTARY This graphic was published around 2012 covering the period from 1970 to 2011. In broad general terms it shows the relationship between corporate profits and GDP and labor wages ... with corporate profits being the winner by a mile. In last decade ... from 2012 to 2022 ... corporate profits have done even better. Why is it, therefore, that this big news ... this big good news ... is not making society happy. Why is the economic news all the time is about gloom and doom? The answer is not difficult, though it may be uncomfortable. Peter Burgess | ||
