AND BY FAR THE WORST IS THE UNITED SYATES

More than anything else the fact that the US and China have more or less the same total emissions stands out. China has a population almost 5 times as big as the United States. On a per capita basis the US is by far a bigger polluter than China.

But it is even worse than this. Much of the pollution that is attributed to China is to manufacture products that get shipped to the United States where they are used to satisfy American demand.

America ... more than any other country ... needs to get real about the damage that it has beeb causing to the environment for a very, bery long time.
