FRANCE v Units from France's military paraded down and flew over the Champs Elysees on Monday (July 14) to mark the Bastille Day national holiday.

French President Emmanuel Macron and members of the government attended the parade, alongside guests including Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Macron had announced a plan to push forward France's defence spending, pledging to double the military budget by 2027 in a speech on Sunday (July 13).
