  • it was a total disaster for these Trump
  • cabinet members during hearings before
  • the United States Senate and the House
  • of Representatives today Watching
  • cabinet members like Howard Lutnik and
  • Linda McMahon crumble was a sight to
  • behold Even when MAGA Republican Senator
  • John Kennedy of Louisiana was asking a
  • pretty softball question to Commerce
  • Secretary Howard Lutnik about what would
  • you do if Vietnam removed every single
  • trade barrier Would that be a good
  • enough deal for you And Howard Lutnik's
  • like no that wouldn't And even the MAGA
  • Republican senators like so what are you
  • trying to do here What do you mean by
  • reciprocal What's your plan Watch this
  • Um if Vietnam for example came to you
  • tomorrow and said 'Okay Mr Secretary you
  • win Um we're going to remove all
  • tariffs and all trade

  • 1:02
  • barriers Would the United States please
  • do the same?' Would you accept that deal
  • Absolutely not Absolutely not That would
  • be the silliest thing we could do Why is
  • that
  • Vietnam has a
  • billion exports to us and imports from
  • us $12.5 million And you're thinking
  • Vietnam exports $125 billion I'm I'm
  • aware of the figures but tell me But
  • where do they get it from They buy 90
  • billion from China then they mark it up
  • and send it to us Just a pathway of
  • China to us You wouldn't accept that
  • deal No it's a terrible deal We're the
  • one with money We're the one with the
  • store Of course they want us to take
  • care What's the purpose of reciprocity
  • then Is reciprocity not one of your
  • goals Are you telling the president that
  • we shouldn't seek reciprocity If that's
  • what you're telling him why are you
  • trying to do these trade deals What do

  • 2:00
  • we want We want we want to encourage
  • Vietnam to produce products they're
  • great at producing But I want to get
  • back to reciprocity You just you just
  • said you don't believe in you don't
  • accept reciprocity as a goal What are
  • you negotiating in these trade deals Why
  • would we open our bank account and their
  • bank
  • accountating trade deals You're trying
  • to get other countries to lower their
  • trade their tariffs and trade barriers
  • in return for us lowering ours
  • I think that's true for the things that
  • they'll take from us That's called
  • reciprocity Of course So you are you or
  • are you not seeking reciprocity in these
  • trade deals We are thinking we are
  • absolutely seeking reciprocity with
  • respect to things that can be reciprocal
  • But when they're importing from China
  • and sending it said that if a country
  • came to you and offered you the ultimate
  • reciprocity no tariffs no trade barriers
  • in return for us doing the same You
  • would reject that of course because they

  • 3:00
  • buy from China and send it to us Don't
  • you agree with me Suppose they said we
  • won't buy from China Now we're talking
  • Now we're talking if it was Vietnam
  • 3:09
  • Would you accept that deal We would
  • 3:11
  • consider it for what things For products
  • 3:14
  • you want to change Well there are
  • 3:16
  • certain products we want to reshore We
  • 3:19
  • don't want other people making them We
  • 3:21
  • want to make pharmaceuticals here We
  • 3:24
  • need to protect our Next up Howard
  • 3:26
  • Lutnik is asked about whether or not he
  • 3:29
  • would commit to not
  • 3:32
  • terminating important weather
  • 3:34
  • forecasting services and other aspects
  • 3:37
  • of the
  • 3:38
  • NOAA the National Oceanic Atmospheric
  • 3:42
  • Agency which also houses the NWS the
  • 3:45
  • National Weather Service He refuses to
  • 3:47
  • answer the question Play this clip Uh
  • 3:50
  • will you commit to me that the
  • 3:51
  • forecasting office uh in Marquette
  • 3:54
  • Michigan will not cease its
  • 3:56
  • roundthe-clock operation
  • 3:58
  • Yes or no Would be great Uh you don't

  • 4:01
  • understand it yet cuz no one's explained
  • it to you These are hard drive computers
  • literally that no one has seen in 25
  • years with green screens in these
  • 4:11
  • offices They they should be on a cloud
  • 4:14
  • Our 2,000 meteorologists should be able
  • 4:17
  • to watch them round the clock the
  • 4:19
  • concept that we're talking about a green
  • 4:21
  • screen and a hard drive So the answer is
  • 4:24
  • no You're saying no We were going to
  • 4:25
  • modernize it We are going to staff those
  • 4:27
  • offices I can commit that we're going to
  • 4:29
  • staff those offices But I will commit to
  • 4:31
  • you that the next time you see me the
  • 4:34
  • concept of having three people at some
  • 4:36
  • regional office will be laughable
  • 4:38
  • because our 2,000 meteorologists and our
  • 4:40
  • hundreds of hydraologists will be able
  • 4:43
  • to stay and forecast and protect us in a
  • 4:47
  • modern way instead of these green
  • 4:49
  • screens and hard drives And it's
  • 4:52
  • hardcoded and it's absurd Okay so no
  • 4:55
  • answer A no answer Uh one of Congress
  • 4:58
  • was uh Howard Lutnik Donald Trump's

  • 5:00
  • commerce secretary is next asked about
  • these tariffs that the Trump regime just
  • imposed on steel and aluminum 25 to 50%
  • tariffs And uh the senator asking the
  • 5:12
  • question says 'You realize that a lot of
  • 5:15
  • manufacturing in the United States
  • 5:17
  • relies on importing foreign steel and
  • 5:20
  • aluminum even if the whole product isn't
  • 5:23
  • really made of steel It's a component
  • 5:25
  • part that's needed in our supply chain
  • 5:28
  • and you are harming American
  • 5:31
  • corporations and our national security
  • 5:33
  • by companies not getting aluminum and
  • 5:36
  • steel Here play this clip Watch Lutnik's
  • 5:38
  • response I'm just going to tell you what
  • 5:40
  • this company in New Hampshire has told
  • 5:41
  • me and that is that their lead times
  • 5:43
  • have gone from 20 weeks to two and a
  • 5:45
  • half years And at that rate it's hard
  • 5:49
  • for me to understand how we can continue
  • 5:51
  • to support our defense industry when we
  • 5:53
  • don't have the ability to get the supply
  • 5:56
  • chain that they need to operate The big
  • 5:59
  • issue is you can't fight a war without

  • 6:00
  • steel and aluminum production in America
  • You have to be able to make it If you
  • don't have the ability to make your own
  • steel and aluminum you can't fight a war
  • 6:10
  • And that is what the president is doing
  • 6:11
  • He's trying to make sure that we make
  • 6:14
  • sufficient steel and aluminum to protect
  • 6:16
  • our defense which I certainly support
  • 6:18
  • I'm sure all of us support That's why we
  • 6:20
  • exactly agree But but I don't agree on
  • 6:23
  • the way it's being done because we're
  • 6:25
  • not going to have the steel that we need
  • 6:27
  • immediately to provide the supplies that
  • 6:30
  • we need immediately So we need to do a
  • 6:33
  • little better planning before we put in
  • 6:35
  • place those kinds of tariffs But I I So
  • 6:38
  • next up Senator Reid goes on and
  • 6:40
  • continues on this line of questioning
  • 6:42
  • about the NOAA the National Oceanic
  • 6:45
  • Atmospheric Agency and he asks Howard
  • 6:47
  • Lutnik you know you're destroying the
  • 6:50
  • NOAA And then Howard Lutnik acts like
  • 6:53
  • this is some sort of like sick joke He's
  • 6:55
  • like oh what Yeah we cut some programs
  • 6:58
  • about uh children's books on climate

  • 7:01
  • anxiety Haha No you cut programs that
  • put weather balloons in the sky I did a
  • report uh that will be uh airing
  • sometime in the next day or two about
  • 7:12
  • this guy John Morales uh the
  • 7:15
  • meteorologist in South Florida who says
  • 7:17
  • he doesn't have the tools to forecast
  • 7:19
  • hurricanes the way he used to anymore
  • 7:22
  • And it's hurricane season You have the
  • 7:24
  • new head of FEMA who's never worked a
  • 7:26
  • day in life in FEMA or in like emergency
  • 7:28
  • management before say he didn't even
  • 7:31
  • know it was hurricane season and says
  • 7:33
  • that he doesn't know what hurricane
  • 7:34
  • season is and then he said it's a joke
  • 7:36
  • like he like does jokes about hurricane
  • 7:38
  • not knowing hurricane season Here play
  • 7:40
  • this clip of Lutnik research so that we
  • 7:42
  • understand changing oceans etc And this
  • 7:46
  • cut as described by Craig McClean who
  • 7:48
  • was served as Noah's top scientist
  • 7:50
  • during the first Trump
  • 7:52
  • administration has said in his quote the
  • 7:55
  • proposal to slash no funding by nearly
  • 7:57
  • 30% would take us back to 1950s in terms

  • 8:00
  • of our scientific footing and the
  • American people Uh and I'm echoing
  • what's said by many other people Uh
  • 8:07
  • you're going to destroy Noah Well that's
  • 8:09
  • consistent under no circumstances We
  • 8:11
  • have 2100 meteorologists and and 120
  • 8:16
  • retired this year and we're hired them
  • 8:18
  • back I was able to have them exempted
  • 8:20
  • from the hiring freeze We care about
  • 8:23
  • meteorologists We care about
  • 8:24
  • hydraologists who do the rivers and the
  • 8:27
  • ponds So we are fully staffed with
  • 8:30
  • forecasters and scientists Under no
  • 8:33
  • circumstances am I going to let public
  • 8:36
  • safety or public forecasting be touched
  • 8:39
  • be touched But I tell you what we did
  • 8:40
  • cut We did cut programs writing
  • 8:43
  • children's books for climate anxiety Yes
  • 8:47
  • that was in Noah And you agree with me
  • 8:50
  • that's not part of our mission Our
  • 8:53
  • mission is to forecast Our mission is to
  • 8:55
  • protect Our mission is to advise Our
  • 8:57
  • mission is to research not write
  • 8:59
  • children's books on climate anxiety How

  • 9:02
  • much money did you save there We saved
  • tens of millions of dollars Nonsense out
  • of Noah nonsense out of Noah Then you
  • 9:11
  • have Magga Mike Johnson I'm going to do
  • 9:13
  • a another video just on Magga Mike
  • 9:15
  • Johnson today But here he says that Elon
  • 9:18
  • Musk is now ghosting him and not taking
  • 9:20
  • his phone calls after Elon Musk says
  • 9:23
  • that the budget bill is a total disaster
  • 9:26
  • Here's Musk ghosting Magga Mike Play
  • 9:29
  • this clip Speaker um you mentioned that
  • 9:30
  • you talked to Elon on Monday He made
  • 9:32
  • this 180 What do you think changed Why
  • 9:35
  • do you think he's coming out against
  • 9:37
  • this now And have you spoken to the
  • 9:39
  • president and Elon since the infamous
  • 9:42
  • tweet Well I tell you I called Elon last
  • 9:44
  • night and he didn't answer but but uh uh
  • 9:46
  • I hope to talk to him today I mean it's
  • 9:47
  • not you know but it's very friendly and
  • 9:49
  • and we can and we've laughed about our
  • 9:51
  • our differences on policy before Uh
  • 9:54
  • Congresswoman Lee is questioning uh
  • 9:56
  • education secretary one of Trump's
  • 9:58
  • cabinet members billionaire Linda

  • 10:00
  • McMahon And Linda McMahon says 'I
  • 10:03
  • don't,' this is what she said Linda
  • 10:04
  • McMahon goes 'I don't have an issue if
  • 10:07
  • African studies is taught as long as we
  • 10:11
  • give both sides of the issue.' To which
  • 10:14
  • Congress member Lee goes 'What both
  • 10:16
  • sides of African-American history are
  • 10:19
  • you talking about?' Play this clip Uh
  • 10:20
  • Secretary McMahon during your
  • 10:21
  • confirmation hearing you were asked uh
  • 10:24
  • by Senator Chris Murphy if an
  • 10:26
  • African-American history class violated
  • 10:28
  • the administration's position on
  • 10:29
  • diversity equity and inclusion You said
  • 10:31
  • you like to look into it Um you've been
  • 10:33
  • on the job for a few minutes months now
  • 10:34
  • Have you been able to look into it I do
  • 10:37
  • not think that uh uh African studies or
  • 10:39
  • Middle East studies or Chinese studies
  • 10:42
  • are part of DEI if they are taught as
  • 10:45
  • part of the total history package Uh so
  • 10:48
  • that if you're giving the facts on both
  • 10:49
  • sides of course they're not DEI I don't
  • 10:52
  • know what both sides of African-American
  • 10:53
  • history would be Well if
  • 10:54
  • African-American history is part of part
  • 10:57
  • of certainly but what we recognize
  • 10:58
  • throughout public ed what we recognize

  • 11:00
  • throughout education is that a course is
  • only one year or one semester it would
  • be impossible to teach African history
  • and say European history at the same
  • 11:07
  • time Do you not agree that it makes
  • 11:08
  • sense that there would be separate
  • 11:10
  • courses for these uh courses of study
  • 11:12
  • and has happened throughout history
  • 11:13
  • We're able to do it not just in history
  • 11:16
  • courses we're able to do it with
  • 11:17
  • different types of literature courses or
  • 11:19
  • different types of music courses One
  • 11:20
  • won't learn one wouldn't learn about
  • 11:22
  • Baroque music and and necessarily have
  • 11:24
  • to also learn about African drumming at
  • 11:25
  • the same time right We can separate
  • 11:26
  • those courses Yes we can I think just as
  • 11:29
  • we teach US history as a separate course
  • 11:31
  • Certainly So you do not agree So you do
  • 11:33
  • agree that African-American cultures and
  • 11:34
  • African history should not be eliminated
  • 11:36
  • from courses particularly AP African
  • 11:38
  • history Well I think that African
  • 11:40
  • history can certainly be taught and not
  • 11:41
  • be considered a DEI course Further
  • 11:43
  • questioning here of education secretary
  • 11:46
  • or I should say uneducation secretary
  • 11:48
  • Linda McMad since her goal is to destroy
  • 11:50
  • the department of education She's asked
  • 11:53
  • by Congress uh woman Lee So do you
  • 11:56
  • believe that social studies standards
  • 11:58
  • that teach that Biden won the 2020

  • 12:00
  • election is that DEI to say Biden won in
  • 2020 And then she goes we need to hear
  • all sides is the response by Linda
  • McMahon Play this clip How about social
  • 12:10
  • studies standards that teach that
  • 12:12
  • President Biden won the 2020 election
  • 12:15
  • I think our school our studies should
  • 12:17
  • all be taught accurately Yes or no I
  • 12:20
  • think our studies should No No The
  • 12:22
  • question was do you believe that social
  • 12:23
  • study standards that teach that
  • 12:24
  • President Biden won the 2020 election is
  • 12:27
  • an illegal DEI Yes or no I think I have
  • 12:31
  • said we should teach accurately We
  • 12:33
  • should No you have not answered the
  • 12:34
  • question I don't understand why you're
  • 12:36
  • incapable of answering I'm not giving
  • 12:37
  • you the answer you want No I want the
  • 12:39
  • answer Whatever your answer is I just
  • 12:41
  • gave you the answer No the answer is yes
  • 12:43
  • or no No the answer is I The answer is
  • 12:45
  • yes or no Gentle ladies thank you so
  • 12:46
  • much I yel back Expired
  • 12:50
  • Next up Congress member Tano uh asks 'So
  • 12:54
  • what are the limits of this viewpoint
  • 12:57
  • diversity that you're trying to enforce

  • 13:00
  • So will Harvard based on what you want
  • does Harvard need to hire faculty that
  • will teach students that the 2020
  • election is stolen And it seems that's
  • 13:09
  • exactly what their goal is to have
  • 13:11
  • Harvard professors teach that the
  • 13:13
  • election was stolen Play this clip Now
  • 13:15
  • Madam Secretary what are the limits of
  • 13:18
  • this viewpoint diversity that the
  • 13:20
  • administration is trying to enforce
  • 13:22
  • under these demands For example would
  • 13:25
  • the Harvard Government Department be
  • 13:27
  • compelled to hire faculty that believe
  • 13:30
  • the 2020 election was stolen
  • 13:34
  • I believe that
  • 13:36
  • um there are rights to freedom of speech
  • 13:40
  • there uh and the on campuses and
  • 13:44
  • universities of colleges and
  • 13:46
  • universities across the country freedom
  • 13:48
  • of speech should be allowed There should
  • 13:50
  • be open debate There should be different
  • 13:52
  • views I'm not asking a question about
  • 13:54
  • speech here Madam Secretary I'm asking
  • you about the the the limits of
  • viewpoint diversity cited in this letter

  • 14:02
  • You demand that Harvard should would be
  • compelled to hire faculty I mean uh well
  • you're you're saying that there has to
  • be viewpoint diversity I'm just asking
  • 14:11
  • you would Harvard uh would the
  • 14:13
  • government department be compelled to
  • 14:14
  • hire faculty that believe the 2020
  • 14:16
  • election was stolen
  • 14:19
  • as an example if you point diversity
  • 14:21
  • However one of the things that Harvard
  • 14:23
  • Crimson and by its by its own Okay I
  • 14:25
  • think you're you don't really have an
  • 14:27
  • answer So I'm going to move on to other
  • 14:28
  • questions Maybe we can clarify by other
  • 14:30
  • questions Would view point diversity
  • 14:32
  • mean that for example madam secret
  • 14:34
  • reclaiming my time reclaiming my time
  • 14:36
  • reclaiming my time madam secretary
  • 14:38
  • secretary would the Harvard medical
  • 14:40
  • school who is looking to hire an
  • 14:42
  • immunologist would that person need to
  • 14:45
  • adhere to HH HHS secretary Kennedy's
  • 14:48
  • view on the efficacy of vaccines
  • 14:52
  • listen we all know that we should have
  • 14:56
  • our universities look at what all the
  • 14:58
  • programs are really thought through view

  • 15:00
  • points viewoint diversity issue that
  • 15:03
  • you're trying to put forth is a false
  • 15:04
  • narrative and the funding is a privilege
  • 15:07
  • Madam
  • 15:08
  • circa my time Next up you have Congress
  • 15:11
  • member Courtney questioning Linda
  • 15:13
  • McMahon on her uh removing all funding
  • 15:16
  • for magnet schools And Lyndon McMahon
  • 15:19
  • goes I think magnet schools are great
  • 15:21
  • And then Congress member Courtney's like
  • 15:22
  • yeah but you defunded it all Watch this
  • 15:24
  • clip But what your budget does is it
  • 15:27
  • undercuts parental choice because magnet
  • 15:30
  • schools are
  • 15:31
  • choicedriven programs I can say that
  • 15:34
  • personally because my daughter uh
  • 15:36
  • attended a magnet school um and you know
  • 15:39
  • it was an excellent uh education
  • 15:41
  • experience You zeroed out that account
  • 15:44
  • which is completely undercuts and
  • 15:46
  • contradicts the hype in your in your
  • 15:49
  • opening statement about uh supporting
  • 15:51
  • parental choice I mean how why why
  • 15:54
  • wouldn't you support magnet schools
  • 15:57
  • I do support magnet schools And uh as we
  • 15:59
  • both know in Connecticut I'll speak to

  • 16:01
  • magnet schools but also in Connecticut
  • 16:03
  • there has been the lowest growth in
  • 16:05
  • charter schools I think we're like fifth
  • 16:08
  • from the bottom in the country for
  • 16:10
  • allowing more charter school growth So
  • 16:11
  • why zero out magnets Magnet schools are
  • 16:14
  • also as are charter schools they are
  • 16:17
  • public schools So in the public schools
  • 16:19
  • funding uh then I think that uh as the
  • 16:22
  • states have more control over their
  • 16:24
  • state budgets they can allocate those
  • 16:26
  • dollars to magnet schools I think magnet
  • 16:28
  • schools are great and I know that a lot
  • 16:30
  • of them do focus on particular kinds of
  • 16:32
  • Thank you Just reclaiming my talk is
  • 16:34
  • chief budgets are what count and and
  • 16:36
  • this budget does not say that magnet
  • 16:38
  • schools are great I have another
  • 16:39
  • question I want to just move a skinny
  • 16:41
  • budget and that was an operating plan We
  • 16:42
  • now have the full budget So we might
  • 16:44
  • take another look at that It says zero
  • 16:46
  • You may still be you may still Anyway
  • 16:48
  • just I want to move on to I want to move
  • 16:50
  • on to the Perkins another I think great
  • 16:53
  • line of questioning for Congress member
  • 16:55
  • Takano By the way he also chairs the
  • 16:58
  • veteran affairs uh committee and he asks

  • 17:00
  • 'Do you believe that the federal
  • 17:02
  • government is legally permitted to
  • 17:04
  • punish a private entity for having a
  • 17:08
  • different viewpoint than the
  • 17:09
  • administration?' And Linda McMahon
  • 17:11
  • filibusters and refuses to answer the
  • 17:13
  • question Play this clip Madam Secretary
  • 17:15
  • good to see you again Uh let's get right
  • 17:17
  • to it Um Madam Secretary do you believe
  • 17:19
  • that the federal government is legally
  • 17:21
  • or constitutionally permitted to punish
  • 17:24
  • a private entity for having a different
  • 17:26
  • viewpoint than the administration What
  • 17:29
  • do you mean by that
  • 17:31
  • Well do you have does the government
  • 17:34
  • have the power or legally or is it legal
  • 17:36
  • or constitutional for you the secretary
  • 17:39
  • to punish a private entity for having a
  • 17:42
  • different viewpoint than the
  • 17:43
  • administration I don't know what you
  • 17:45
  • mean by punish Can you be more specific
  • 17:48
  • Well let's move on Apparently we're I
  • 17:51
  • don't want to get into this um back and
  • 17:53
  • forth on this Like we all realize that
  • 17:55
  • this is just straight up
  • 17:56
  • authoritarianism and fascism the
  • 17:59
  • government telling private entities that

  • 18:02
  • they need to teach that the 2020
  • 18:04
  • election was rigged Are you kidding me
  • 18:07
  • That's what this is all about Next up
  • 18:10
  • you have Congresswoman Lee once again
  • 18:13
  • saying 'Okay let's let's flesh out your
  • 18:15
  • ideas here Your your both sides to
  • 18:18
  • African-American history concept Okay Is
  • 18:21
  • it illegal DEI for a lesson plan on the
  • 18:25
  • Tulsa race massacre?' And Linda Mc Linda
  • 18:28
  • McMahon goes 'I don't know I don't
  • 18:30
  • know.' Play this clip Was that I would
  • 18:31
  • like to your thoughts on simple yes or
  • 18:33
  • no
  • 18:35
  • Um if this is a de a legal DEI an
  • 18:38
  • example Would you say that it would be
  • 18:40
  • an illegal DEI for a lesson plan on the
  • 18:42
  • Tulsa race massacre I'd have to get back
  • 18:45
  • to you on that Do you know what the
  • 18:47
  • Tulsa race massacre is I'd like to look
  • 18:48
  • into it more and get back to you on it
  • 18:50
  • Okay So uh I look forward to that How
  • 18:52
  • about um the book Through My Eyes by
  • 18:54
  • Ruby Bridges for instance I haven't read
  • 18:56
  • that
  • 18:59
  • Have you learned about Ruby Bridges

  • 19:01
  • If you have specific examples you'd like
  • a specific example I'll be very happy It
  • was an incredibly specific example named
  • questions and I will look into it and
  • get back to you on the How about a
  • school having a voluntary celebration
  • for Pride Month Well I think that um
  • voluntary
  • Well let's make sure that in our schools
  • or we're looking No it's not Okay Uh
  • next up you have Congress member McBath
  • on this I think powerful line of
  • questioning saying 'You realize that on
  • February 10th Linda McMahon you canled a
  • program that served 1,600 disabled
  • students without warning You threw
  • disabled students under the bus.' Play
  • this clip over the cancellation of
  • grants and contracts at the Department
  • of Education On February 10th you
  • cancelled the Charting My Path for
  • Student Success program that served over
  • 1,600 disabled students and their
  • families across 62 schools in 11 states

  • 20:00
  • including Pauling County which is in my
  • home state of Georgia This yearround
  • program provided support services and
  • frequent small groupoup sessions to
  • ensure that physically disabled students
  • or students with dyslexia autism and
  • other disabilities as well as their
  • families can meet their goals of
  • transitioning to and succeeding in
  • adulthood which is really what every
  • parent wishes for their child
  • All too often it's unfortunately
  • um a sink or swim situation for disabled
  • students after high school And program
  • programs like this can be the difference
  • between a lifetime on disability
  • insurance versus a good job that they
  • can raise a family on
  • On this poster right here you can see
  • the exact email that was sent out to
  • parents in Georgia because of your
  • decision which I would like to submit
  • digitally for the record It says 'The
  • federal funding provided by the
  • Department of Education for this

  • 21:00
  • initiative has been discontinued
  • immediately and that your child will no
  • longer receive transition supports
  • I would like to also submit for the
  • record an article from NPR about a young
  • man named Logan and his mother Jesse who
  • were really benefiting from this program
  • before it was abruptly cancelled
  • Secretary this is just simply a yes or
  • no answer Do you stand by your decision
  • to cancel this program in the middle of
  • the school year without any warning to
  • the hundreds of students teachers and
  • families that were participating
  • Well I would like to uh explore that
  • more This is a yes or no answer Yes or
  • no Yes it is And the American people
  • deserve I'm not going to give you a yes
  • or no answer because answer from you yes
  • or no I'm not going to let you
  • circumvent I'm not going to let you
  • ignore it Yes or no It's a simple
  • question I'll have to stand by this
  • decision of the different programs and I

  • 22:00
  • can't speak to individual grant programs
  • without looking into them Exactly There
  • were there are a lot of grant programs
  • out there So I'd like to get back to you
  • Note for the record that the secretary
  • is unwilling to answer my question
  • So that's what went down today at the
  • congressional hearings before the Senate
  • and in the House of Representatives That
  • first clip I shared with you of Howard
  • Lutnik basically saying that he would
  • not do a deal even if a country removed
  • all of their
  • tariffs and that if there was a a
  • deficit then they would the United
  • States would still have to retaliate
  • against a country like Vietnam That's
  • one of the most telling clips I think
  • out there and why you can't do a deal
  • with these people because they're
  • operating in a bad faith world a
  • delusional world and a dangerous world
  • It's absolutely outrageous Tell me what
  • you think in the comments I want to hear
