I lived in London for several years in the 1960s when I was working with Cooper Brothers & Co and learning to be an accountant. My apartment was in Courtfield Gardens in South Kensington not far from the West End and everything that was taking place in central London.
My impression is that the various military parades in London are bigger and better than what I remember from 60+ years ago. I am sure that part of this is that photo and recording technology is now substantially better than it was decades ago, but maybe also that Britain is making better use of its history as a part of tourism and a meaningful revenue source
I any event, I am enjoying the videos and remembering some of my young reality!
