I have watched this several times. It reminds me of my life and the huge role that good people have played in making the world a better place.
But for me there is also a warning. Many of the issues that caused the rise of Hitler and WWII are emerging again, and not very many people now seem to have much of an appreciation of the important lessons that emerged from WWII
I am now 85 years old, and grew up with WWII a very recent event. Many of the big decision makers around the world are now in their 50s ... born decades after the end of WWII and not well informed about history.
I learned a long time ago, that people that do not know history are most likely to repeat it. Ignorance may be 'bliss' ... but it is dangerous and for powerful decision makers, very dangerous!
The 80th Anniversary of the end of WWII is very thought provoking for me!
