In many ways, we have nothing in common ... but who cares? She makes a whole lot of sense, when most of the pepople engaged in politics do not. My understanding is that AOC did not 'have it easy' but had great parents who gave her excellent 'values'. In spite challenges, AOC got a good education and actually learned something and now is putting it to good use. I think she has made some good choices. One of these was working in support of Senator Bernie Sanders on his various campaigns ... an investment that I believe is paying off big time! Many mainstream politicians will not like AOC ... but I hope they will not get in her way. Mostly the mainstream politicians are hanging on to yesterday, while AOC is doing everything she can to enable Democrats to win now and into the future. The future can be amazing ... but not if everyone in mainstream politics ... and business ... is trying to hold on to the success of the past. The past is of huge interest ... for academic historians and to understand the present and the future ... but replicating the past is nonsense. As an old man 85 years old I have become fascinated by the amazing changes in almost everything that has taken place in the 60+ years of my adult life. What annoys me is that because we have a rather simplistic view of change, we are getting only a rather modest benefit from change / improvement than we could if more people understood what comprehensive socio-enviro-economic progress needs to look like. My guess is that progress could be many mulitples bettter than what we have achieved over the past several decades! Profits may be up and stock prices at record levels, but quality of life has not even flatlined but significantly degraded since the Reagan era in the 1980s! This is pathetic ... and a better management regime is long overdue! My hope is that a TrueValueMetrics initiative can help make this happen! Peter Burgess

and second of all know that that is exactly what this Administration is trying to get you to feel yeah and AOC is 100% right there uh it's both fairly obvious I think that that's what they want us to feel it's also when you look at the things people in this Administration are saying it's their stated goal and uh they have a particular tactic that they've used you've probably noticed it but AOC you that but it's also a lot to process in a single week it's a lot and so I think everybody needs to both know that that's what they're trying to do I think that that makes it easier to resist but also have your little Outlets have things that help to sustain you I write my little fantasy and sci-fi stories I 3:00 watch WWE I play with my daughter these are the things that let me wake up each day and do it again because they want us to tap out with that so all the more reason we can't give it to them right what do you think about this how and also we need to say stuff over and over again we're just overreacting to everything well he has no cause to like it's not that we're crying wolf it's just he's releasing a lot of damn wolves that's what's 4:01 happening and he's incentivized to do so if we if the media environment and all the social media play people out there and all of his growing fan base can convince us that it's all nonsense that we're saying even though it's real and the other thing is they're always like you guys are always calling us fashists well first of all all the stuff you're doing is like super fasy dude like it's super duper fasy you have a billionaire in charge of one of the biggest social media sites out there and certainly the fastest moving one and the one that a lot of people looked at to find out what was happening right now and what are the analyses out there and what do people I genuinely agree with say about it they've completely changed that they've got all of the media cow to to them bending the knee and all that stuff and meanwhile while they're telling us not to call people them fascists at every turn they call around and call us communist pedophiles and the difference is they're doing fasy stuff kamla Harris was not a 5:00 communist Marxist psychopath nor was she a pedophile but that doesn't stop them from saying the inaccurate thing so we need to repeat this stuff as much as possible and we need to convince the folks that are even remotely seen as neutral Arbiters of this that were actually right about that and I would argue like the Insight that I'm laying out might be more interesting fun compelling engaging annoying all the stuff that has a life on the internet then the crap that they're just doing over and over again that itself should get boring to the masses oh my God every time we call them a fascist
