Peter Burgess COMMENTARY
I did junior level audit work in London in the insurance industry many decades ago and became aware of role the insurance industry played in keeping commerce financially afloat.

Fast forward about 60 years to this video and the huge concentrations of value that are at risk in the modern global economy. This video decribes huge 'losses' that have happened over the last few years in the automobile supply chain ... none of which were headline 'news' because the modern economy is now so big and so normal!

On reflection, while the 'actual' global economy has become impressive by almost any measure, the way it is reported and the way it is understood has become seriously 'problematic' and a 'risk' that needs to be addressed. Sadly ... and dangerously ... the modern media is not up to the task of doing the reporting that is essential for a healthy modern world!
