Peter Burgess COMMENTARY
I am opposed to Donald Trump and the MAGA GOP for many reasons that go back several decades.

In my view, Trump is a mix of chronic incompetence and personal greed. This goes back decades. I had an interaction with Donald Trump in Atlantic City at one of the casinos he had built in the 1990s, and in this episode, Trump got away with little or no profit, but thouamds of working people never got paid for their work. Trump couldn't care less!

Trump is scum ... but sadly scum floats to the top. I am disappointed at the way a big segment of the American public have embraced this con-artist and support him.

I am making a big effort to be sympathehetic to MAGA supporters who have been 'conned' by one of the best con-artists in history. I am doing all I can to make it clear that their support of Trump is a huge mistake.

I am encouaraged by the fact that a growing number of well known Republicans are going to vote for Kamala Harris in the upcoming election!
