  • welcome to Divine Justice today we focus
  • on a sudden and significant shift on the
  • Eastern European
  • chessboard our focus is on Ukraine's
  • bold Maneuvers in the KK region of
  • Russia a battlefield where history and
  • strategy
  • Collide in recent days the Ukrainian
  • armed forces have launched a series of
  • strategic offensives in the kers region
  • dramatically changing the Dynamics of
  • the
  • region the Strategic offensive of the
  • Ukrainian armed forces in the KK region
  • has had dramatic
  • consequences in particular these
  • offensives created serious weaknesses in
  • the Russian defense lines leading to the
  • surrender of many Russian
  • soldiers according to the latest
  • information a total of 70 Russian
  • soldiers surrendered to Ukrainian forces
  • during the day including 20 Russian
  • soldiers captured near
  • suda videos shared on social media

  • 1:01
  • showed Russian soldiers blindfolded and
  • handcuffed during these raids in the KK
  • region more than 400 Russian soldiers
  • have reportedly surrendered to Ukraine
  • so far the mass surrender of Russian
  • soldiers is boosting morale and
  • motivation on the Ukrainian
  • 1:16
  • front motivated Ukrainian troops
  • 1:19
  • continue their advance in the KK region
  • 1:22
  • Ukrainian forces are intensively
  • 1:23
  • targeting The Kino Airbase located 50 m
  • 1:27
  • away Ukrainian military forces have
  • 1:30
  • launched two separate attacks on this
  • 1:31
  • critical Airbase in the last 11
  • 1:35
  • days the closest military Airfield to
  • 1:38
  • the Border Town of suda the center of
  • 1:40
  • Ukraine's sudden invasion of KK oblast
  • 1:43
  • is the Kino Air Base in the city of KK
  • in the oblast of the same
  • name Kino is home to the 14th guards
  • fighter Aviation Regiment of the Russian
  • Air Force the regiment's 24 suco s30 SM
  • fighter bombers weigh up to three tons

  • 2:00
  • and can carry kab Glide bombs with a
  • range of 25 miles or more on popout
  • wings shortly after five Ukrainian
  • brigades crossed the border on Tuesday
  • the Russian Air Force began striking the
  • brigades and Ukrainian bases in sui
  • oblast with about 50 kab a day that's
  • half the number of kabs the Russians
  • 2:19
  • have dropped on the 700 milei front line
  • 2:21
  • that they have maintained against
  • 2:22
  • Ukraine for 29 months the ukrainians
  • 2:25
  • know how important Kino is that's why
  • 2:28
  • they have been attacking harder since
  • 2:29
  • the week before The Invasion Kino is
  • 2:32
  • only 65 M from the border and is within
  • 2:34
  • range of a wide range of Ukrainian deep
  • 2:37
  • Strike weapons including ballistic and
  • 2:39
  • cruise missiles and explosive
  • 2:41
  • drones the ukrainians have struck the
  • base several times since February
  • 2022 a drone raid on Kino in December
  • 2022 caused a fire in the bases Fuel
  • Depot another attack 8 months later
  • involved Ukraine's unique cardboard
  • attack drones the attacks

  • 3:00
  • escalated on July 31st just 6 days
  • 3:03
  • before the Ukrainian Invasion the
  • 3:05
  • Ukrainian Navy's Neptune cruise missiles
  • 3:07
  • hit Kino's Ammunition Depot and burned
  • 3:10
  • part of it to the ground possibly
  • 3:12
  • destroying all the kab stored
  • 3:15
  • there 11 days later Ukrainian troops
  • 3:18
  • captured about 400 square miles of K
  • 3:21
  • oblast they fought a barrage of kabs
  • 3:23
  • that damaged or destroyed several
  • 3:25
  • Ukrainian
  • 3:27
  • vehicles on Saturday night or Sunday
  • 3:29
  • morning
  • 3:30
  • a Ukrainian missile apparently fell
  • 3:32
  • short while speeding toward Kino and hit
  • 3:34
  • an apartment building in
  • K as long as the ukrainians retain
  • control of the area adjacent to the Kur
  • border the danger to the 14th guards
  • fighter Aviation regiment and other
  • Russian forces in Kino will
  • increase if they attack Kino from inside
  • the occupied Zone the ukrainians can
  • Target The Airbase with shorter range
  • ground launched Rockets including
  • m331 as fired by the American made High

  • 4:00
  • Mobility artillery rocket systems it is
  • 4:03
  • not clear that the Ukrainian military
  • 4:05
  • would risk its precious High Mars so
  • 4:07
  • close to the front line but if it wanted
  • 4:09
  • to it could hit Kino harder than
  • 4:12
  • ever on the other hand the recent
  • 4:15
  • intensification of trench digging by
  • 4:16
  • Ukrainian forces suggests that the
  • 4:19
  • military situation in the region is
  • 4:20
  • heading towards a long-term
  • 4:23
  • stalemate there is growing evidence that
  • 4:25
  • Ukrainian troops comprising
  • 4:27
  • 520000 man brigades and at least one 400
  • 4:31
  • man independent Battalion are preparing
  • for a long-term
  • deployment this suggests that Ukraine is
  • preparing for a static War by digging
  • trenches along or near the current front
  • line similarly Russian forces are
  • building defensive lines in an attempt
  • to Halt Ukraine's advance and protect
  • its existing
  • territory however these preparations do
  • not mean that Ukraine has stopped
  • advancing or that Russian forces cannot
  • Counterattack

  • 5:00
  • the digging of trenches by both sides
  • 5:03
  • suggests that the front line is being
  • 5:04
  • stabilized in Readiness for future
  • 5:06
  • clashes and that military tactics in the
  • 5:08
  • region point to a long-term
  • 5:11
  • conflict observations by Russian
  • 5:13
  • military correspondent Alexander kenko
  • 5:16
  • reveal that Ukrainian forces continue to
  • 5:18
  • dig trenches in the KK region in a
  • 5:21
  • letter the Estonian analyst
  • 5:23
  • characterizes this as the worst thing
  • 5:24
  • that could happen as it risks the
  • 5:26
  • conflict becoming protracted and
  • 5:29
  • difficult to resolve
  • 5:31
  • according to Ukrainian sources
  • 5:33
  • industrial excavators are working
  • intensively on both sides of the front
  • line the use of this heavy machinery
  • indicates that both sides intend to
  • strengthen their defensive lines and
  • consolidate their current
  • positions this suggests that any future
  • attempts at progress May face
  • difficulties according to Keno's
  • comments Ukraine's actions in digging
  • trenches could lead to a conflict
  • scenario similar to the situation in

  • 6:00
  • Aviva in Aviva it took 6 months for the
  • 6:03
  • Russian army to withdraw Ukrainian
  • 6:05
  • defenses resulting in tens of thousands
  • 6:07
  • of
  • 6:08
  • casualties a similar situation in KK
  • 6:11
  • could have serious human and strategic
  • 6:14
  • consequences it could be argued that the
  • 6:16
  • Russians won the Battle of Aviva in
  • 6:19
  • mid-February only because the ukrainians
  • 6:21
  • ran out of ammunition after months of
  • 6:23
  • delay in US Aid to Ukraine as planned by
  • 6:26
  • pro-russian lawmakers in the US Congress
  • 6:31
  • now that us Aid is flowing again Russian
  • 6:34
  • forces around the KK bulge cannot count
  • 6:36
  • on Ukrainian occupation troops running
  • out of
  • ammunition to drive potentially
  • thousands of Ukrainian troops out of KK
  • they will need to capture one trench at
  • a
  • time unless of course the Kremlin can
  • mount a powerful Counterattack before
  • the Ukrainian trenches are completed but
  • the window of opportunity is closing
  • fast and Ukrainian offensives are
  • blocking Russian reinforcements trying

  • 7:00
  • to reach the KK front if the KK Salient
  • 7:04
  • stabilizes it could become important as
  • 7:06
  • a new front in Russia's 29-month war
  • 7:08
  • against
  • 7:10
  • Ukraine in KK the ukrainians along with
  • 7:13
  • its immediate neighbor sui oblast have
  • 7:15
  • strategically deployed more than 10,000
  • 7:18
  • troops this presents a serious challenge
  • 7:21
  • to Russian forces in the region
  • 7:23
  • according to reports by the Ukrainian
  • 7:25
  • Center for defense strategies Russia's
  • 7:27
  • Northern group of forces is trying to
  • 7:29
  • move 10 to 11 battalions to the front
  • 7:31
  • lines this translates into about 4,000
  • troops however the movement of these
  • battalions may represent only the
  • initial Echelon of a larger Russian
  • operation on paper the northern Forces
  • Group commands a total of 48,000 troops
  • the bulk of these forces are currently
  • in V chonk at the center of the Russian
  • offensive along the Russian Ukrainian
  • border that began in May if the Russian
  • command stops FOC focusing on the
  • advance in v chonk and other Frontline

  • 8:02
  • towns and cities and shift these forces
  • 8:04
  • to K it could mean a serious strategic
  • 8:07
  • shift one of the main objectives for
  • 8:10
  • Ukraine's occupation troops could be to
  • 8:12
  • force Russian forces to reduce their
  • 8:14
  • strength on other
  • 8:15
  • fronts this strategy is intended to
  • 8:17
  • divide Russia's war effort and weaken
  • 8:20
  • its capacity to manage pressure on
  • 8:21
  • several
  • 8:23
  • fronts as part of Ukraine's overall war
  • 8:26
  • strategy this tactic aims to further
  • 8:28
  • strain Russia's military and logistical
  • 8:30
  • resources and create weaknesses in its
  • Regional
  • defenses so what are the Russians doing
  • to manage this
  • process in an effort to slow Ukraine's
  • Advance the Russian military is now
  • mobilizing its most intense Firepower
  • against Ukrainian troops moving along
  • the roads as part of this strategy the
  • Russian Air Force is using kab gliding
  • bombs Each of which has a range of 25 M
  • or more and can carry hundreds of kilog
  • of
  • explosives these bombs are designed to

  • 9:00
  • collapse Ukrainian defenses in
  • 9:02
  • preparation for Russian ground
  • 9:04
  • attacks so far these gliding bombs have
  • 9:06
  • been used extensively especially in
  • 9:09
  • eastern Ukraine where they have been
  • 9:11
  • supporting the slow advance of Russian
  • 9:12
  • regiments all spring and summer with
  • 9:15
  • heavy
  • 9:16
  • losses suco Su 34 fighter bombers can
  • 9:19
  • drop up to 100 such bombs on a daily
  • 9:23
  • basis the focus of the Russian bombing
  • 9:25
  • campaign shifted north towards KK on
  • 9:28
  • Tuesday
  • 9:29
  • this strategic shift coincided with
  • 9:31
  • Ukrainian forces crossing the border and
  • launching a sudden counter invasion of
  • kskk this surprise move allowed Ukraine
  • to open a front on Russian territory in
  • the 29th month of the war and involved
  • Ukrainian Frontline units of at least
  • five
  • brigades as the Ukrainian battalions
  • attacked from their base in sui oblast
  • just across the border from kers they
  • came under heavy shelling by Russian
  • forces the Ukrainian general staff
  • reported that the intensity of the

  • 10:00
  • fighting has increased and the Russians
  • are actively using air power helicopters
  • and heavy
  • weapons a statement by the Ukrainian
  • Center for defense strategies noted a
  • noticeable change in the enemy's
  • Aviation efforts with a significant part
  • of the attacks now targeting the
  • territory of KK and Sumi
  • oblasts prepared for this situation the
  • Ukrainian Army has tried to counter the
  • air strikes of the Russian forces by
  • deploying electronic Jammers and a
  • significant number number of air defense
  • batteries these defenses were equipped
  • with Technologies capable of jamming
  • radio signals and in some cases even
  • intercepting satellite guided
  • bombs in addition Ukrainian air defense
  • batteries effectively using explosive
  • Laden drones managed to shoot down
  • several Russian
  • helicopters in return Russian Artillery
  • damaged a Ukrainian buuk air defense
  • vehicle demonstrating the intensity of
  • the conflict and the technological
  • capabilities of both sides

  • 11:00
  • the shelling of sui did not prevent
  • Ukrainian troops from marching on
  • neighboring KK and capturing several
  • towns including most of suda which until
  • now had been the center of Ukraine's
  • counter
  • offensive the Russian army mobilized
  • reinforcements but Ukrainian Rockets
  • prevented some of them from reaching the
  • front line in
  • K Russian fighter bombers thus shifted
  • their target points to Russian
  • territory on Thursday kabs attacked
  • Ukrainian vehicles in the Russian
  • village of darino on the Northern edge
  • of the Ukrainian Advance on Friday
  • gliding bombs attacked Ukrainian troops
  • in Leon aovo not far from
  • darino Russian gliding bombs some
  • weighing up to 3 tons are powerful but
  • inaccurate and pose a serious danger to
  • civilians around the
  • target assuming of course that civilians
  • are not the target the Kremlin may not
  • mind accidentally killing Ukrainian
  • civilians but it is apparently less
  • willing to kill Russians

  • 12:00
  • as the bombing of KK intensified
  • authorities ordered the evacuation of
  • the
  • oblast so what are Ukraine's objectives
  • in this
  • raid as with all major operations in war
  • we need to consider the Strategic
  • context and strategic political purpose
  • of such
  • operations the 2023 Ukrainian counter
  • offensive had both political and
  • strategic objectives so will this latest
  • Ukrainian attack on KK what might these
  • be
  • the following section is speculative
  • given that Ukraine has not yet made any
  • significant official comments about the
  • attack at the most basic tactical level
  • this operation will be about seizing
  • territory and destroying Russian ground
  • and Air
  • Forces this is the central role of
  • ground forces in the war but these are
  • tactical
  • tasks what is interesting are the
  • operational and strategic objectives of
  • conducting operations to seize territory
  • and destroy the enemy there are several

  • 13:01
  • possible operational objectives for this
  • Ukrainian
  • offensive first Ukraine may be trying to
  • distract Russian forces from their
  • offensive on New York and their Advance
  • on toret and
  • pokrovsk this may be possible but given
  • Russia's advantage in Manpower this
  • outcome is probably
  • unlikely another operational objective
  • that is more likely to materialize is to
  • force the Russians to reconsider their
  • Force positions Elsewhere on the front
  • line the Russians will will have to
  • fight back and they do not have
  • bottomless resources even to do so they
  • will have to abandon defenses elsewhere
  • to respond to the Ukrainian offensive in
  • kskk Ukrainian surveillance systems will
  • monitor such Russian movements and stand
  • ready to exploit the opportunities they
  • potentially
  • generate finally Ukraine may have in
  • mind some specific operational
  • objectives related to the location
  • itself the KK nuclear power plant could
  • be a Target but this is speculative and

  • 14:00
  • is still 60 km from the Ukrainian border
  • it is much further from where Ukraine is
  • currently thought to be
  • operating important Road and Rail lines
  • could also be
  • disrupted as a result threatening the
  • city of KK itself could be a target for
  • the operation but this would be a
  • long-term
  • objective the Strategic objectives of
  • this attack can only be estimated at
  • this early stage first the attack could
  • be an attempt to slow down or kill
  • Russian momentum in their offensive
  • lasting until
  • 2024 Ukrainian planners will realize
  • that even Russia cannot stay on the
  • offensive forever they may be aiming to
  • use this crossb attack to force the
  • Russians to reassess their troop
  • deployments across
  • Ukraine this could have the effect of
  • slowing or halting Russian offensive
  • operations the second strategic
  • objective could be to make The Narrative
  • of the war more positive for Ukraine and
  • counter Russian misinformation about its
  • inevitable victory in

  • 15:01
  • Ukraine in 2022 the offensive in kiv not
  • only surprised the world but also
  • changed the narrative about Ukraine's
  • ability to sustain the war and led to a
  • significant shift in the West's approach
  • to providing
  • Aid Ukraine may be hoping for something
  • similar here but as I have often written
  • NATO also needs to change its strategy
  • to one that favors Ukraine defeating
  • Russia in
  • Ukraine the third strategic objective
  • could be to boost the morale of the
  • Ukrainian
  • people given the last 8 months of
  • 15:34
  • defensive operations constant air
  • strikes on infrastructure and ongoing
  • power outages the will of the people
  • will be at the Forefront of the
  • Ukrainian government's assessment of the
  • course of the
  • war a successful offensive against
  • Russia could be seen by the government
  • as worth the risk of using experienced
  • brigades in this operation as it would
  • reduce pressure in other regions rather
  • than playing defense in eastern Ukraine
  • the fourth strategic objective for

  • 16:01
  • Ukraine could be to do what the Russians
  • are currently doing in eastern Ukraine
  • to seize as much territory as possible
  • if Ukraine is forced into some kind of
  • negotiated settlement in late 2024 or
  • early
  • 2025 it is much better to negotiate with
  • some of your enemy territory than to
  • negotiate without
  • it and while there are many problems
  • with any kind of ceasefire or negotiated
  • settlement Ukrainian strategists May
  • believe that in the the short to medium
  • term having Russian territory will give
  • them better leverage if they are forced
  • to the negotiating table so far the
  • Russian system seems to be still
  • experiencing the shock from the
  • Ukrainian crossb offensive the mass of
  • Russian forces and possibly Reserves at
  • the operational level and their tactical
  • Aviation and operational Firepower are
  • concentrated further south while Russia
  • will almost certainly have strategic
  • reserves and forces in the KK and car
  • regions that it can use to stop the
  • Ukrainian advance
  • this will take some time to

  • 17:02
  • organize Putin seems to have come to the
  • four more quickly with this Ukrainian
  • offensive than any other surprise in
  • this
  • war during the progan uprising Putin
  • disappeared for a while this time Putin
  • quickly convened a meeting of the
  • National Security Council part of which
  • was shown on Russian television and
  • described the Ukrainian Cur operation as
  • another large scale
  • provocation because of course nothing
  • Rush has done in the last 30 months in
  • its brutal invasion of Ukraine is
  • provocative Putin will send a message to
  • the US Administration to take the Reigns
  • Ukraine Russian offensives in eastern
  • Ukraine especially the toret and pocr
  • axes of Advance seem to have not yet
  • been affected the Russians still seem
  • focused on seizing more territory in
  • this region however any propaganda coup
  • resulting from such gains is probably
  • already long over overtaken by Ukraine's

  • 18:00
  • significant seizure of Russian territory
  • in the Battle of KK we should expect an
  • accelerating Russian response to the
  • Ukrainian crossb
  • offensive Russia probably has the
  • manpower to react but speed will be key
  • to the effectiveness of their
  • response the centralized nature of the
  • Russian command and control system
  • hinders their speed and adaptability
  • during such
  • crises it is very likely that Ukraine
  • will turn Russian responses into a war
  • game and allocate a defensive elements
  • to hit Russian troops moving towards
  • kke this is likely to be a multi-stage
  • Ukrainian operation and planning for
  • likely anticipated Russian moves in the
  • coming days and weeks will be Central to
  • Ukraine's overall planning for this
  • operation Russia's response to the
  • invasion troop deployment air strikes on
  • Ukraine and diplomatic moves will become
  • clearer in the coming
  • days the final point on Russia's
  • response will this be the last straw for
  • gasimov

  • 19:00
  • I have already written about his
  • 19:01
  • shortcomings before and during the war
  • 19:03
  • in this war he has consistently failed
  • 19:06
  • in strategy Force building and a number
  • 19:08
  • of other areas of strategic
  • 19:11
  • leadership at a meeting of the National
  • 19:13
  • Security Council to discuss the ksk
  • 19:15
  • situation gasimov informed Putin by
  • 19:17
  • video that for the ukrainians their
  • 19:20
  • advance in the direction of ksk has been
  • 19:23
  • halted while he is loyal to Putin and
  • 19:26
  • this is very important will Putin
  • 19:28
  • finally decide to abandon him after this
  • 19:31
  • disaster in
  • 19:32
  • ksk Ukraine faces a daunting set of
  • problems as it continues this
  • operation these include tactical
  • operational strategic and political
  • challenges tactical challenges the first
  • order tactical challenge will be to
  • maintain momentum Ukraine will want to
  • keep moving forward until it achieves
  • its
  • objectives at the same time it will want
  • to keep the Russians off balance and
  • sure that the Russian military is always

  • 20:00
  • several steps behind in responding to
  • Ukrainian actions and at the same time
  • Ukraine will want to make sure that it
  • can keep the breach open for advances
  • and any
  • withdrawals such penetrations into enemy
  • territory create opportunities but they
  • also create
  • weaknesses one important weakness is the
  • flanks of the advancing
  • ukrainians as I wrote in this article an
  • important tactical task will be the
  • allocation of security forces to keep
  • open the corridor to Russia that Ukraine
  • is now creating the more Ukraine
  • penetrates the more forces will be
  • needed for this task then it will be
  • difficult to provide the ukrainians with
  • fuel food ammunition and everything else
  • in advancing Army needs deep in enemy
  • territory not only must reliable routes
  • be available but Logistics convoys must
  • be protected from ground and air
  • attacks while success or failure in this
  • Ukrainian crossb offensive will not mean
  • winning or losing the war it will have a
  • significant impact on Ukrainian morale
  • and Western

  • 21:01
  • support ultimately however the success
  • or failure of future offensives will be
  • determined on the
  • ground good leadership at all levels
  • flexible execution decisive close combat
  • good Logistics and adaptability to
  • surprise and opportunity will be vital
  • for tactical and operational
  • success and this must be implemented for
  • sound strategic
  • reasons all this could make for a larger
  • scale raid on Russia than the previous
  • attacks in 2023 and 2024 we will know in
  • time thank you for following us
