The more that I pay attention to the progress of technology, the more I am impressed ... but also somewhat ennoyed.
Given the progress that has taken place in the domain of technology and the way it has been applied to improve productivity, there is something wrong with the way decision makers are deploying the capabilities of technology.
I explain this failure to the essentially failed system of management metrics that dominates decision making ... a system that has its origins back in the Victorian era and is no longer fit tor purpose. My thinking about TrueValueMetrics.org has potential, but it is an uphill battle.
