| I started working with Dreamhost many years ago when I was quite young and knew something about the world of technology. As technology accelerates, I am going slower and slower which is normal when one gets into one's 80s. I had forgotten about my love affair with database technology (FoxPro and MySQL) and early iterations of my web efforts on Dreamhost. At this time I don't (think I) use MySQL at all though my code is largely PHP based. I still have big dreams about management accounting and accountability and how better management metrics are vital for coherent and comprehensive action that gets to deliver a better world ... for profit management is very powerful, but social and environmental management is mainly talk and greenwash metrics. Why do you think the MySQL upgrade failed? Is it something within my website mess that is causing it? Can you point me to anything I need to do? Thanks Peter Burgess | |||||||||
