USAID cordially invites you to an upcoming event:
An Overview for Faith-Based and Community Organizations:
USAID’s New Expectations Regarding Sexual Exploitation and Abuse,
Child Safeguarding, and Counter-Trafficking in Persons
Date: Wednesday, November 18, 2020
Time: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM EST
Location: Virtual - BlueJeans Platform
Hosts: USAID’s Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives (CFOI) and the Administrator's Action Alliance for Preventing Sexual Misconduct (AAPSM)
USAID and the broader development and humanitarian aid sector have seen significant recent updates to safeguarding policies that protect the dignity and wellbeing of the people we serve through our programs. This event is designed specifically to provide helpful information for faith-based and community organizations — particularly those with less experience working with the U.S. federal government — on these changes and the expectations for our partner organizations’ policies regarding sexual exploitation and abuse, child safeguarding, and counter-trafficking in persons (C-TIP). A panel of USAID experts will provide a wide-ranging overview of responsibilities in these areas, followed by an audience Q&A.
Welcoming Remarks
