It’s official: Rashida won her primary election in Michigan’s 13th District. Corporate special interests and Super PACs attacked her -- but Rashida’s resounding victory shows that our Squad is big and includes all who believe we must show up for each other and prioritize people over profits.
Now, Ilhan’s election is right around the corner on August 11th. Republican Super PACs and GOP donors are spending big to defeat Ilhan, too, and trying to derail our movement for real change.
We need the full Squad’s continued leadership in Congress. It’s critical that Ilhan wins next Tuesday -- but right now her opponent is flooding the airwaves with attack ads.
