I have two potential funding source interests in early-stage (non-NDA) discussions. One is a conference on Wed with an investment group in NJ ... and I'm awaiting a return date and time from another in CA. Also, I have reconnected with a former student who is located in Tunis ... he has significant contacts in the area and in the Gulf States. I am inviting him to the call. His name is Mohammed Atig Ali and he speaks 5 languages and in an engineer by training, and an international consultant (see resume) In addition, Bonnie Nixon has agreed to join the team. As you will see (attached) she has an impressive set of experienced credential - ideally suited for our position and development stage.
Last Meeting may have seemed a bit contentious but I find that invigorating to a degree ... creative tension is a good thing as it gets issues aired within the core team that need to be argued ...it informs the decision process. Another thing. Dave has set forward a number of initiative supported by him and his experience and resources. We have not responded adequately to his requests and suggestions. That is intolerable for all of us. ME TOO! Let's fix this.
Underlying all of these issues is a definition of exactly what business we are in. My position is that we are both a Development Company and a Management Company and that The Alliance Partnership is essentially a holding company for the subsidiaries ... this will help us control costs and highlight performance issues as each entity will have its own P&L ... more during the meeting.
