Burgess COMMENTARY Great text on this image. I want to go further and create a universal standard product profile (USPP) that shows the social impact and environmental impact embedded in every product. Companies know the cost and price of every product. Buyers should know about the USPP for everything they consume. Loyalty programs could be designed around responsible consumption ... products that are good for a person's wellness and doing low damage to the environment. Companies should be reporting not only the money revenue from the products they sell, but the aggregate of the USPP that has been sold. This should inform capital markets. Also, consumption or use taxes could be based on the USPP to give incentive to more responsible consumption. Data are powerful when they are made available to people who can do change! The #foodindustry is responsible for 25% of global #emissions, CO2e (WWF)
![]() So #Oatly are right, all #foodproducers and #retailers should be #labelling their products with the amount of #CO2e they generate, from farm to store, and that we can make informed choices, before it's too late 106 30 Comments Top Comments Peter Burgess Great text on this image.
