Dear Peter
My Editor in Rome, Raisa Ambros, of Social Value
1. We work around the world in this sector,
http://ow.ly/JNxqv
, are behind several laws, and our messages are very close to yours.
2. Our Social Earnings Ratio, S/E, is 'the most rapidly adopted social impact metric in the world' The Vatican press, http://ow.ly/GPnAi) but of course you have your own approach at TVM. My speech at The Vatican
here http://ow.ly/BgAwB
and their interview http://ow.ly/GFX6R
3. We run a SaaS platform,
www.seratio.com
which measures much of the issues you have highlighted. We currently have c. UK£ 45 billion under management of public sector funds in the UK that utilise our metrics.
I believe you are based in the USA where we intend to expand into end of this year. I hope we get the opportunity to meet.
Kindest regards

Dear Professor Olinga
What a pleasure to get your message ... and how embarrassing that you have been trying to find out about my work using the website truevaluemetrics.org. While this website is a depository of a quite substantial amount of material, it is rather disorganized, to say the least.
Having said that, my work and your work do seem to have a huge overlap. I think it is fair to say that part of my effort is almost an exact fit with yours, while in addition I am working to bring in the environmental impact dimension as well. As you may have gathered I come at the problem of metrics from many directions ... engineering ... science ... economics ... accounting ... finance and arts and culture. This gives a very different composite picture than you get looking at the world through a single prism, especially where that prism is dominated by the metric of money.
It will take me a bit longer completely to digest the material you have referenced, but a quick read of some of the material suggest that some sort of collaboration might be in order. I am glad you are planning to become involved in the USA where I am located, and I would love to meet you when you come to my neighborhood.
In the meantime
Very best wishes ... and by the way I have invited a connection on LinkedIn!
Peter
