Comment on the ASI Standard The ASI standard-setting process is based on public multi-stakeholder consultations and face-to-face meetings of the ASI Standard Setting Group (more information on the standard setting process here).

The public consultation on the next version of the ASI Performance Standard (Draft 1) starts on 14 July 2014 and ends on 7 September 2014.

Draft 1 builds on the comments received during the first public consultation (1 February – 29 March 2014) on the ASI Performance Standard (Draft 0). The Draft0 version and a synopsis of all comments received are available here. The Standard Setting Group reviewed the comments received on Draft0 and generated Draft1 of the ASI Performance Standard.

ASI Standard Public Consultation on Draft 1 Documents

This public consultation focuses on Draft 1 of the ASI Performance Standard. The text and an accompanying review form are available in the following languages: English, Bahasa Indonesia, French, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish. The review form supports the collection of public comments.

This public consultation also provides the opportunity to comment on Draft1 of the ASI Chain of Custody (COC) Standard. Draft 1 of the ASI COC Standard is available below with an accompanying review form (English only).

This public consultation will be followed by a third meeting of the Standard Setting Group (24-26 September 2014) to review all public comments received. A new version will then be issued once comments have been reviewed.

Please share your views and suggestions with us, and please note that you are not required to comment on the entire standard – any input, even on parts of the Standard, is welcome.
