I'm also leading the company's expansion into other international markets, as well as into the startup and maker ecosystem here in NYC and internationally. Previous experience includes design research at the design research specialization firm MauroNewMedia Inc., large-scale commercial video production and marketing at advertising agency ALLDAYEVERYDAY, microfinance for the NGO the Arusha Project in Tanzania, and office management, brand redesign, social media, sales, and teaching. I'm also an avid traveler, and have lived, worked, and studied in Japan, Tanzania, and Argentina. Through these previous experiences, the BBA in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons the New School for Design, and BA in Quantitative Economics from UC Irvine, I formed a unique qualitative and quantitative multidisciplinary approach to problems and their solutions. This led to an interest in design research, knowledge brokering, open innovation consortiums, information networks, infrastructure, and a formalized methodology for ideation. On a personal note, I also like to travel, hike, kayak, camp, and eat delicious food, and always enjoy hearing about others' experiences in those areas.
