Seeing what is going on in the DRC where war, hunger and disease have killed more than five million people since 1998. One child in every five dies before reaching their fifth birthday and poverty has left the majority of children with no education. It came to a point where I can no longer stand by and watch. My desire and passion to help combined with my education background has seen my promotion to Managing Director of BSM Connections; trade name of Brothers, Sisters and Mates Connections Community Interest Company Limited by Guarantee. The company is based in England. To raise money, we are operating as a Freight Forwarding Company specialise in West Africa sea freight. My goal is to make BSM Connections the first ever cause-driven business to have establish, run and promote free education in the DRC. In the hope that it will help to secure the future of a great many disadvantaged children; particularly that of vulnerable young girls.
