I have a large experience working in development finance worldwide. As a senior member of International Development Institutions (such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund), I have been responsible for the financing of development projects and microfinance institutions, the definition of country development strategies and the design of governmental policies supporting microfinance. I have also been Board Member of various microfinance banks in Eastern Europe. Currently, I have taken a sabbatical and I have created Innovation for Change Institute a Think Tank to promote Social Innovation. (www.innovationforchange.org) I am involved in projects in the field of: microfinance and social enterpreneurship, education and leadership. Microfinance and social enterprenership: I am the President of the Madrid Microfinance Club, Member of the Advisory Committee of Agora Microfinance Fund and founding member of the CIFF Microfinance Lab. I am also a Partner at Hub Madrid, an incubator for social entrepreneurs. Education: I lecture in a number of universities and business schools: Instituto de Empresa, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Escuela de Organización Industrial, Universidad de Alcalá, Centro Internacional de Apoyo a las Innovaciones Financieras (Bolivia) and Centro Internacional de Formación Financiera (CIFF).
