Dear Gary
Just had a look at your slide deck ... an interesting compilation which certainly sparks my interest.
I have continued to think through the issues that need to be addressed with respect to a radical reform of the prevail metrics for business and socio-economic performance ... a little bit of information about the state of play can be accessed via this URL:
http://www.truevaluemetrics.org/DBadmin/DBtxt001.php?vv1=txt20080001#!
This is a work-in-progress, but I think it represents considerable progress from where I was a few years back.
In terms of name ... I have progressed from names like Transparency and Accountability Network to Community Impact Accounting to Community Analytics to to TrueValueMetrics and now to Multi Dimension Impact Accounting (MDIA).
I think Multi Dimension Impact Accounting describes what I now have quite well. It is accurate if not very sexy!
How might what I am doing complement your work?
With best wishes
Peter

Peter, I'm rather distracted at the moment, helping to produce an event for a client, but I will have more breathing room later in the week, and hope to give you a more complete response after looking at the document. But I'm very glad to hear from you, it's been far too long. -gB
