Keento, in addition to expressing a powerful sense of human eagerness, is a phonetic adaptation of Kintu, a mythological figure who appears in a legend of the Baganda people of Uganda. According to this legend, Kintu was the first person on earth, the father of all people. Our project focuses on trying to see how Private Development Assistance (PDA) complements ODA. The pilot country is Bolivia but we are also engaging several other countries for the next steps. We are working on a project that is looking at all forms of Private Development Assistance (PDA) in the context of a host country’s national strategies and ODA. Our focus is to increase transparency as well as to leverage the financial and human transactions associated with the private side of international development How we are connecting local needs with human and financial opportunities? - - Geo-platform (mapping all current efforts globally) - - Community tool / Smartphone (tools for communities to map their needs) - - Travelers Savings Fund for Development (Impact Investment Fund) - - Collective Impact (ability to measure and connect various efforts)
