When invited to do so, and if the project is of interest, I also provide independent consulting in the application of 'Relationship Management' to the Order-to-Cash process and recovery of delinquent A/R. My 30-year-plus experiences encompass medical collections, media, training in inter-personal communication skills, and consulting to senior management on credit/collection and customer service strategies. For companies requiring my interventionist skills, I serve at that key juncture when my client has lost any meaningful (i.e., effective) communications with their customer and the account is being considered for referral to third parties such as collection agencies or attorneys. My 'Diplomatic Intervention' approach, sharpened over years of learning and understanding how to motivate positive action (Get the Money and Keep the Good Customer), results not only in monies recovered, but the salvaging of worthwhile relationships as well. This is a skill and approach which will come more and more in demand given the economic train wreck we call the 'Great Recession.'
