The Dare to Dream Project was founded in 1993 at Technical Carrer Institutes -The College of Technology- Awarded the Presidental Award for Community Service ,= Proclamations from the Office of the President of the Borough of Manhattan and Office of the President of the Borough of the Bronx..Supported by student volunteers,the program benefits charitablie organizations throughout New York City.D2Dream assists the physically challenged,the elderly and the terminally ill .Students train,repair and upgrade computers then donate them to the at risk community. Since its inception students have donated over 4000 pints of blood to the New York City Blood Centeer.Students also fix wheelchairs and scouters for the physically challenged.
