William Blanchet The French Connection is interesting Dear William Interesting to learn you are focused on the French US business world. I was associates a long time ago with Pavie, the French accounting firm before it was merged into Coopers and Lybrand. My office in New York served as its US base with Angus McDowell in charge. I spent may years doing work in various parts of the francophone world from Madagascar to Martinique. I remain convinced that good accounting is a requirement for a good society ... but am disappointed that this issue has not been high on the agenda when trying to explain why so much seems to go wrong in the modern world.
