Dear Professor Wolff
Thank you for giving me a great end to 2012, and huge hope for 2013. I enjoyed your contribution to the Inside Story of December 31, 2012 juxtaposed with the positions of Grover Norquist.
There is work to do ... but at long last maybe there is some traction by those of you (us) who have some understanding of the systemic characteristics of modern society and economy.
I was listening to a bit of Bloomberg TV early on Sunday. One of the guests (from the investment capital markets world) made the point that a large part of corporate investments (in the USA) at the present time are about improving productivity and reducing need for labor ... on other words investment growth results in job reduction! The other guests and host went into total freeze ... the silence was deafening!
