Better information at POS
When there is better information at the Point of Sale (POS), better deicisons can be made.
The point of advertising has been to sell more stuff, because selling more stuff makes more profit for the company and adds more wealth for investors. Whether or not selling more stuff is in the interest of the customer or society or the environment has not been on the corporate agenda for all of recent history.
