Not only are mining magnate Andrew 'Twiggy' Forrest and tech whizz Mike Cannon-Brookes Australia's two richest men, the multi-billionaires also claim to be alchemists. They boast they can turn green into gold; that the technology is now available to produce all of the energy the world needs from renewable sources like wind, solar, and even hydrogen. What's more it's not cost prohibitive, it makes economic sense. And with the greatest supply of these resources on the planet, Forrest and Cannon-Brookes reckon instead of Australia being a climate villain, very soon we'll be a green energy super power. Prices will fall and the planet will be saved from burning to a crisp.
