Nigel Topping is the UK's High-Level Climate Action Champion, appointed by the UK Prime Minister in January 2020. Nigel works alongside the Chilean High-Level Climate Action Champion, Gonzalo Muñoz. The role of the high-level champions is to strengthen collaboration and drive action from businesses, investors, organisations, cities, and regions on climate change, and coordinate this work with governments and parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Nigel was most recently CEO of We Mean Business, a coalition of businesses working to accelerate the transition to a zero-carbon economy. Before that he was Executive Director of the Carbon Disclosure Project, following an 18-year career in the private sector, having worked across the world in emerging markets and manufacturing.

Mr. Gonzalo Muñoz is a business entrepreneur and social change-maker at the forefront of environmental innovation in Chile, who reinvented the country’s recycling industry to usher in a future without waste. He did so by founding a recycling company in 2009 and, ever since, has been presiding over the expansion of the company to other parts of Latin America. His company produces a recycling station capable of recycling 90 percent of household solid waste. Through the popularity of his innovation, Muñoz has been leading a cultural movement to advance environmental sustainability and social inclusion.
In recognition of his leadership, Gonzalo Muñoz was awarded the Circulars 2019 international prize at World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos and was also invited to join the New Plastics Economy advisory panel at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

Alberto is Director of Science Based Targets at CDP. In this role, he leads CDP's efforts to help mainstream climate action within the corporate sector through the adoption of ambitious climate targets. Alberto is co-founder of the Science Based Targets initiative, the largest voluntary climate mitigation initiative for businesses, and represents CDP in the Steering Committee of the initiative.
In his previous role, Alberto led WWF’s climate and business strategy at the global level as part of WWF’s Global Climate and Energy Initiative. In 2013, he received the H. M. The King's Medal, 8th size with the ribbon of the Order of the Seraphim from King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden for outstanding contributions within Swedish environmental and sustainability development within financial sector
He was chosen as a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos in 2011.
Stars Fund, the Nordea sustainable fund launched by Beslik in 2011, was chosen as Sweden's best overall equity fund in 2017. It was the first sustainable fund to receive the award
His work for Nordea started in 2009, when he became head of responsible investments and corporate governance. He was named CEO of Nordea Investment Funds Sweden in 2011 and head of responsible investments and identity at Nordea Asset Management in 2013. Finally, at the beginning of 2017, Nordea placed Beslik at the head of a new unit, Sustainable Finance, tasked with implementing the decisions made by the company's corporate responsibility unit.
He is the author of the book 'Guld och gröna skogar' (2019).

Pernilla Bergmark is a Principal Researcher at Ericsson focused on the sustainability impacts of ICT. Pernilla Bergmark is a co-author of the Exponential Roadmap for 1.5oC aligned climate action , a collaboration between Future Earth, Sitra, WWF, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, PIK, Ericsson and others, where she focused on policy and technology. She is also a co-author of the 1.5C Business Playbook, which is supported by 40+ partners from brands, enterprises, organisations and academia . Pernilla Bergmark is active in standardization as a co-rapporteur of ITU SG5 Q9, in ETSI EE, and in the Swedish national committee for cities, TC 268 (SIS TK 588). Lately, she has contributed to the development of the ICT sectoral decarbonization approach.

Giovanni graduated in Engineering from the University “Politecnico” of Milan in 1997. At the onset of his career, he served as project engineer, construction supervisor and proposal manager in Foster Wheeler.
In 2002, he joined Alcoa and began working in Health, Safety and Environment, managing teams, projects and programs, becoming familiar with various HSE management models, systems and cultures. He was exposed to an international environment and involved in cross-country projects with a high degree of complexity.
In 2008 he moved to Tenaris and in 2010 he joined the Enel Group taking on various positions at global level at International Division first, and from 2014 in Enel Green Power where he led the HSEQ, Innovation and Sustainability Units. Since October 2019 he has been responsible for Sustainability of the Enel Global Power Generation business line.
Being a scuba diver, he travels discovering the beauties of the seas and to learn from different cultures, but above all, he’s passionate about making a good use of his time, with family and friends, because “happiness is real only when shared”.
