EVENT DETAILS:
The Integrated Reporting U.S. Community is pleased to invite you to an online regional focus group to discuss the Consultation Draft of the revised International Framework (the Framework).
The Framework revision, set to coincide with the IIRC’s tenth anniversary in 2020, will respond to an evolving market context and further embed integrated reporting and thinking into mainstream business practice. Market feedback shows that the Framework is an established tool for organizations looking to communicate their broader value creation story and to reflect the integrated thinking within their business. The revision will therefore be a simple modernization of the Framework via minor corrections and clarifications and will not involve wholesale changes to the underlying Fundamental Concepts, Content Elements or Guiding Principles.
This focus group is one of a series the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) is co-ordinating with hosts around the world to ensure any modifications to the Framework reflect the needs of report preparers and users. The session is aimed at stakeholders across the corporate reporting landscape with a working knowledge of integrated reporting and the Framework to discuss and exchange views on the revised Framework. Participant packages will be reviewed prior to the session.
The session will be held using Zoom. We'll be using breakout groups to ensure all voices are heard. This will also be a great opportunity to meet with other members of the Integrated Reporting US Community.
We ask that you respond to the invitation as soon as possible for planning purposes and to ensure we have sufficient attendees from the various stakeholder groups.
