The owner of this law firm should not only 'go out of business' but he should also be sanctioned by the legal profession and he should be proescuted to the extent of the law for his practices.

Beyond this the businesses that used his services should also be sanctioned and prosecuted to the extent of the law.

The problem is that 'rule of law' has become ineffective in the control of bad commercial practices, and rather makes it possible for immoral and unethical commercial practices to be legal. This is achieved over and over again by the lobbying industry writing law and amenddments to law that give 'free passes' to specific behavior that can be extremely profitable but might also be other wise illegal and wrong.

Baum PC from their lists of law firms eligible to handle foreclosures. Servicers including Bank of America Corp. and Ally Financial Inc. also stopped using the firm, which last month agreed to pay the U.S. $2 million and change its practices to resolve a probe of faulty foreclosure filings. “Disrupting the livelihoods of so many dedicated and hardworking people is extremely painful, but the loss of so much business left us no choice but to file these notices,” Steven J. Baum, who owns the firm, said in the statement. Yes, it IS very sad that these people are all losing their jobs, which we sincerely hope they hated anyway, because Steven J.
