COMMENTARY
This exchange is very refreshing ... but it is also becoming more normal. For the first time in a ling time the simple talking point of the Conservative right ... or Republican right ... is now being shown up for what it is, a simplistic facade that is well funded but intellectually barren.

I accept the fact that 'capitalism' is a better system than 'communism', but as Polly Toynbee makes clear, we need good capitalism not bad capitalism.

Accusing the protesters of being 'absurdly simplistic' is a great put-down ... but for a change it was the supporter of the 99% that was able to control the conversation and make the case for a simple statement about the problem ... and some serious thinking about the solutions. After years of bad capitalism, billions of taxpayer money, huge rewards for greedy bankers, at some point it is time to say 'enough is enough'
