About People
Benazir Bhutto

Benazir Bhutto was Prime Minister of Pakistan twice (1988–1990; 1993–1996). She was assassinated in December 2007

My observations about Benazir Bhutto are based on some kowledge of history and some experience in Pakistan ... both modest, but better than nothing. Benazir Bhutto has a deep and complex history closely linked to the country and its founding personalities, including her father. With my interest in transparency and accountability, she is too much associated with practices that have the appearance of self-serving corruption ... espcially in partnership with her husband Asif Ali Zardari who became Prime Minister in elections after her death.
