Special Counsel Jack Smith was cold as ice when he met with Trump’s lawyers just before the Department of Justice dropped two separate indictments on Trump. Michael Popok of Legal AF who’s been in rooms with the DOJ like this before, comments on the new reporting in which the prosecutors let Trump’s lawyers keep talking for an hour uninterrupted , took notes, and then minds unchanged, just showed them the door.
