This may not be the first time that I have archived this video. It certainly is not the first time I have watched the video and been impressed by the scale of the operations every day.
I remember going on an engineering field trip in the early 1960s in the UK when British Rail was engaged in upgrading its main line routes and electrifying all the high volume lines. Later in the 1960s I got to visit some of the construction of the Victoria Line London subway.
The civil engineering works that going on beneath the existing Grand Central Terminal is truly impressive.
All of this shows me that modern USA is not 'failing' as many Americans seem to think, but is actually doing rather well and moving forward in a fairly impressive manner.
I understand there are issues that need to be addressed ... but the technological underpinning of the countr is quite impressive.
