Hazel Henderson and Kate Rayworth had a conversation in June 2021 hosted by Edward Saltzberg, Executive Director of the Security and Sustainability Forum ... one of the best conversations that I have heard in a long time. Both of these ladies have been thoughtful for a very long time, and it is a pleasure to hear what they have to say. Both take issue with the conventional way in which the progress and performance of everything is simplified in a way that really makes little true sense, though being good for many of the powerful interests that dominate most decision making.

Peter Burgess COMMENTARY
I became aware of Hazel Henderson in the 1980s because of what she was doing with the Calvert organization. Kate Rayworth got on my radar when she was workding with the UN and Oxfam and first decribed her thinking about the Doughnut economy. I had come to realize that conventional financial metrics that did a very good job of optimizing performance in a for profit corporate setting was not fit for purpose to aid in decision making related neither to social program decision making, environmental program decision making nor government and public secotr decision making. I saw the work Hazel Henerson and Kate Rayworth were doing as being a very big step towards better metrics. I wanted to bring some of the rigor of accountancy into the broader context that Hazel and Kate were working on. My work in this arena is a continuing effort.
