Karl Øystein Øyehaug is the Managing Director of Atlantic Sapphire ASA (Norwegian parent company) and the Finance Director of Atlantic Sapphire USA. Before joining Atlantic Sapphire in October 2018, he worked as an equity analyst at Carnegie in Oslo, Norway, covering the fish farming sector on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Mr. Øyehaug is a Norwegian citizen and has a degree in business and economics from the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway.

Been working with salmon farming since 2005 and as a CEO since 2008. 3 generation in a family owned company located just above the Arctic Circle. The company has 5 licenses to produce salmon and that gives us a production of 8.000 tons salmon a year. We sell our salmon under the brand Kvarøy Arctic and US is the main market.

Jennie Korus is an aquaculture scientist at Innovasea and part of the Aquaculture Intelligence team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Jennie holds an honors degree in Marine Biology and Statistics from Dalhousie University and an advanced diploma in Ocean Technology from NSCC. She is currently working towards her master’s in Oceanography at Dalhousie with a focus on fish stress and environmental monitoring on aquaculture farms.
