Ilhan Omar info@ilhanomar.com via bounce.bluestatedigital.com 3:25 PM (5 hours ago) to me Peter, CNN just reported this morning that a Republican group is going to spend at least $100,000 on an ad campaign attacking me for our bold policy agenda. I need your support right now. Can you rush a donation of $5 to my reelection campaign right now? Donate The Republican establishment has made it clear they cannot stand to see me serving in Congress. We should expect them to do everything they can to defeat me in 2020. They are scared of the diversity I have brought to the halls of Congress, the progressive policies that I am adamantly fighting for, and the fact that I serve people —not corporate special interests. And, they will attempt to use me as a target on other Democrats. The man who is in charge of this Republican group is former Minnesota U.S. Senator Norm Coleman – a paid lobbyist for the Saudi regime. Since I have spoken out about the Saudi Arabian repression, violence and attacks on journalists, and oppression of women and children — they are now launching this ad campaign against me. This is no coincidence. Donald Trump has demanded my resignation, Republicans have launched a Super PAC against me, and now yet another Republican group is going to spend at least $100,000 against me on a smear advertising campaign. Peter, we have to remain firm in our ideals and we cannot show any weakness in our campaign. It is imperative that Donald Trump and the other Republican groups who are spending all this money and working so hard to attack me see the strength of our movement.
