Logo HOME WHAT WE DO WHO WE ARE YOUTH WHAT’S HAPPENING CONTACT WHO WE ARE Open and adventurous thinkers, breaking silos to create value collectively INSPRING FOUNDERS InSpring’s Founders have many years’ experience working with global organisations, enabling them to quantify and maximise the value they create through purpose. We bring a track record of co-creating innovative solutions with our clients, and extensive experience in connecting talent and expertise to solve shared social, environmental and economic challenges. STEVEN LANG Steven is at his best when working with diverse teams, groups and organisations to build things that couldn’t be created by working in silos. Holding a variety of senior roles as a Partner with EY, he was the instigator and chief architect of some of the firm’s most innovative thinking around purpose, inclusive growth, how to measure value in a way that is fit for the world we now live in, and how to deliver this value through collaboration. He has worked with some of the world’s most purposeful organisations to help them create value in a way that benefits society. When not doing this he loves spending time with his wife and 3 sons, and indulging his passions for football, cycling, music, travel and nature. ALASTAIR MACGREGOR Alastair believes that the solutions to the world’s greatest challenges already exist, they just need connecting more effectively. He was previously COO of Trucost Plc, one of the world’s leading environmental data and analytics providers. He left to start InSpring and co-create a platform that harnesses the power of a global network of data providers, experts and innovators, providing organisations with dynamic access to the best information, when they need it. He started his career in finance and is inspired by the growing opportunity to use positive social impact to drive financial performance. He is also passionate about skiing and fly-fishing, especially with his children. “There aren’t any elements so diverse that they cannot be joined at the heart ” ... WHAT INSPRING DOES We translate bold purpose into transformative impact We work with global organisations to positively impact the systems they care about the most. Impact that drives value for society, value for stakeholders, and value for shareholders. We do this by bringing together corporates and their stakeholders, innovators, research institutes, public sector bodies, NGOs, social entrepreneurs, finance providers and civil society, to create value collectively far beyond what can be achieved by working in silos. Our capabilities and approach span the 6 areas most critical to achieving the levels of system impact being sought by the world’s most purposeful organisations. 1. Modelling systems – where to focus? We develop insightful system models that provide clarity on the areas of greatest opportunity for intervention and collective value creation 2. Shaping constellations – who to work with? We leverage extensive networks to identify, shape and enable constellations of organisations that have a shared interest in innovating together 3. Framing challenges – how to galvanise? We frame purpose in a way that excites, engages and motivates constellations to see beyond the silo and work together towards inspirational goals 4. Enabling collaboration – how to work together? We deploy leading edge techniques in multi-stakeholder collaboration to create the conditions for constellations to thrive 5. Sustaining innovation – how to source solutions? We unlock a sustained flow of potential solutions from multiple sources by using the most advanced techniques in open data and innovation 6. Scaling impact – how to sustain momentum? We instil momentum by rapidly assessing and scaling potential solutions, and quantifying the value they create for all stakeholders. “Today, connection with society is the new frontier of competitive advantage.” Lord Browne of Madingley
